A Luftwaffe M41 tropical cap. Overall condition quite poor, with tan cotton sun-bleached and some considerable staining. Blue-backed Luftwaffe eagle and cockade to the front. Red cloth lining. Size stamped 58 with Witt of Berlin manufacturers stamp. Centre seam stitching on crown and long-bill peak which has lost its stiffness.  read more

A canvas battery sack for U-Boat U903. White heavy canvas with blue central stripes. Eagle and swastika and contents information on one side, and date - November 1943 - on the reverse. Bag measures 7cm x 14cm. U903 was a VIIC-class submarine of the 23rd U-Boat flotilla commissioned in July 1942 and scuttled in the Baltic Sea in May 1945.  read more
