A beret for the French Milice collaborative police. Large dark blue beret with Milice insignia in silver wire. The Milice was a notorious organisation created by the Vichy regime, with German help, to track down and fight members of the French Resistance. It was a ruthless organisation involved in summary executions, and torture.  read more

An early pattern aluminium army belt buckle. Good patina. Belt clip is incorporated into the rear moulding. Eagle and swastika badge, but swastika looks as if it has been hammered out, probably as a deliberate act of denazification.  read more
