A large M42 single decal helmet for the SA - Sturm Abteilung. Raw-edged helmet painted black inside and out. Single SA insignia decal. Inner skirt stamped with batch number 5175, and maker and size stamp ckp66. Brown nine-tongued hide liner. No chinstrap but bales are present. An M17 transitional helmet with Deutsche Red Cross (DRK) double decals. Helmet shell has an overall brown patina inside and out. It has the large peak indicative of Austrian manufacture. A French Chassepot 1866 bayonet with engraved blade edge. The bayonet was designed for the Fusile Modele 1866 rifle. 23-inch fullered yataghan blade in super unblemished condition. Blade edge engraved "16th Infantry de Regiment Etienne, April 1868". Blade is stamped with a letter B and a proof mark. L8413 stamped on on quillion. Brass hilt.
