M42 SD Sturm Abteilung Helmet

A large M42 single decal helmet for the SA - Sturm Abteilung. Raw-edged helmet painted black inside and out. Single SA insignia decal. Inner skirt stamped with batch number 5175, and maker and size stamp ckp66. Brown nine-tongued hide liner. No chinstrap but bales are present. By the middle of the war, the SA had lost much of its influence and was little more than a training organisation
