M42 Army Helmet - Tropical

An M42 army helmet in tropical paint finish inside and out. Outer shell has darkened with age, with considerable age wear. Significant stack mark around crown. Inner shell shows more of the original colour. No decals. Inner skirt stamped with batch number 5918. No discernible maker or size mark.
Tan hide liner stamped with a size 57. Black and tan leather chinstrap maker marked by Ludwig Keller of Stockach, and dated 1942.
