M40 DD Army Helmet - Relic

An M40 double decal army helmet in relic condition. Shell is extensively rusted inside and out, but is stable. Substantial rust damage on rear skirt, and a hole in the crown. Some flecks of green and brown paint remaining, suggesting the helmet may have originally had a camo finish. 15 per cent of eagle decal remaining with swastika still visible. 20 per cent of national decal present. Liner band remains in position with some scraps of hide liner. Chinstrap bales present with a small piece of leather chinstrap.
