A Wehrmacht verbandkasten first aid box. Large steel box measures 35cm x 19cm x 10cm. Single carrying handle and twin fastening clips. Contents and instructions on inner lid. Dated 1943. Some contents remaining including a black cloth sling, two white cloth slings, two white bandages in packaging, an elasticated bandage in packaging and two leather pouches for iodine bottles.
