Livgardet Officers Pickelhaube

A Prussian-made Livgardet M1887 officer's pickelhaube. The Livgardet Swedish Lifeguards were closely allied to the Prussians and mainly made up of Prussian officers and men. This nice condition black pickelhaube has white metal furniture and large Livgardet helmet plate. White metal large officer's removable spike which shows signs of a repair. White metal spine and lobster-tail chinstrap with leather fastenings. Yellow cockade. Multi-tongued black leather liner.
